On the Christmas holiday, the Pushpa sequel recorded an impressive ₹23.89 crore gross (₹20.25 crore net) in India. Overseas, the film saw a significant jump, collecting ₹1.65 crore gross, taking the total for the day to ₹25.54 crore gross.
Yesterday, being a regular weekday, a drop in collections was expected, and as anticipated, the numbers dipped slightly. Nevertheless, the film managed to rake in ₹13.45 crore gross (₹11.40 crore net) in India, along with ₹1 crore gross internationally, making for a total of ₹14.45 crore gross on day 22.
Considering the day 22 numbers, Pushpa 2’s total collection at the Indian box office has reached an astonishing ₹1140.65 crore net. Including taxes, the film has amassed ₹1345.96 crore gross in India. On the international front, the overseas gross stands at a massive ₹285.25 crore.
When we combine the Indian and overseas collections, the worldwide box office total now stands at an extraordinary ₹1631.21 crore gross, solidifying its status as a monumental blockbuster.
With a staggering total of ₹1631.21 crore gross in just three weeks, Pushpa 2 is well on its way to comfortably crossing the ₹1700 crore mark in the coming days. However, it appears unlikely that the film will surpass Baahubali 2’s ₹1800 crore gross in its lifetime run.
