Story
Murali Krishna(Balakrishna) Murali Krishna (Balakrishna) is known as a popular people’s person in the conflict-ridden Anantapur district. Things get problematic in his area when a mine owned by Varadarajulu(Srikanth) creates massive problems for the poor. Murali Krishna confronts Varadarajulu but is subsequently arrested. As the goons cause more chaos for Murali Krishna’s family, Akhanda(Balakrishna as Aghora) arrives to help everyone. Who is Akhanda? What is his story? And how he helps everyone in what is the story behind Akhanda.
Production
As mentioned previously, Thaman has breathed life into the film through his efforts. It is noteworthy that the fight scenes have been choreographed. They provide a variety of adrenaline-pumping scenes for the spectators.
Dialogues are typical Boyapati and the way that Balayya speaks the words is equally impressive. The music, dances and outfits of Balayya great. But, the movie can be easily cut in minimum ten minutes in order to get things streamlined.
When it comes to director Boyapati the director has delivered on the hype he created and provided the fans with what they were lacking. He created two strong character in Balayya while presenting him beautifully. If he created a stronger conflict in the second part, the film would have been much better. While he was a bit overboard with the fight scenes and logic in his previous film, the director has remediated these mistakes here.
Review
Overall, Akhanda is a feast for the most ardent fans, and Balayya provides them with plenty of moments to relive with his amazing act. The plot is dull, and the violent in its second part is excessive. Akhanda is not a film that the general public may not like. However, since it’s been an extended time since a major film has come out in cinemas and the general public will take it in since Akhanda is packed with Balayya’s masala king as never before.
