Story
Manu (Taapsee), Bali (Anil Grover), Buggu Lakhanpal (Vikram Kochhar) as well as Sukhi (Vicky Kaushal) all hailing in Laltu, Punjab, decide to move to London for a variety of reasons. Review
Dunki is a great first half that largely depends on comedy. There are a lot of scenes that are sure to tickle your funny bone. These comedy scenes bear the Hirani marks across them. When it comes to the promotion content the comedy segment did not look very promising however they were impressive in the movie. The film is fast-paced during the opening hour, with no boring scenes.
Shah Rukh Khan, as an actor shines in Dunki. For those who didn’t see the performance of the class Shah Rukh in Pathaan and Jawan Dunki can fill in the gap. Particularly in the court scene which occurs in the second half, SRK depicts that he is not only a star but a talented actor too.
Taapsee Pannu has done a great job, and she’s been given a strong role in the film that is in line with the main character. Anil Grover as well as Vikram Kochhar will leave you in awe with their comical timing. The creators deserve praise for bringing awareness to a topic isn’t widely discussed. There are some good instances in the second part.

In conclusion, Dunki is a film with a fascinating idea, but the execution of Rajkumar Hirani is decent and not exceptional. The comedy in the film is great however the powerful emotion, which was believed to be the main force in Rajkumar Hirani are missing a little in Dunki. There are a few great moment in the middle half but at the end the film fails to provide that overwhelming feeling. Shah Rukh Khan does an impressive job, but the film also benefits by the acting talents by Taapsee, Anil Grover, and Vikram Kochhar. If you’re comfortable with the flaws you could give the movie the chance. The film earns a rating of 3.0 out of 5 stars.
