Kajal Aggarwal Biography

Kajal Aggarwal is an Indian actress who has been featured in Telugu as well as Tamil films. Her acting debut was on the set of 2004’s Hindi movie Kyun …! Ho Gaya Na, playing an unimportant supporting role before she was a leading actress in the main South Indian film industries. Her fame was boosted by her role in the role of Yuvarani Mitravinda as well as Indu on the 2010 Telugu big-budget film Magadheera.

Early Life

She released the first film in Tamil released that was Perarasu’s action film Pazhani. The film, where she acted alongside Bharath the actor, was a commercial hit. In 2009, she had four films, three of them in Telugu. Her sole Tamil film in 2009 is Saran’s Modhi Vilayadu was the first to be released with mixed reviews and disappointing return on the box office. In the following film, she was in the film Magadheera where she played two characters for the very first time. The film received praise from critics and the main actors such as Kajal Agarwal for their performance.

Career

Agarwal especially, was recognized for her portrayal of a princess Yuvarani Mithravindha, who was the main character in the film. This film also was highly commercially popular and broke numerous records, establishing itself as the top-grossing Telugu film as well as one of the largest box office successes in India. In the wake of Magadheera’s incredible achievement, Agarwal became one of the most sought-after actresses within the Telugu film industry, propelling her into the top spot of leading Telugu actresses.

Kajal was also the female lead role in the prominent Tamil productions Naan Mahaan Alla, Maattrraan, Thuppakki, Jilla, Vivegam and Mersal. Kajal returned to Hindi cinema in the film Singham which was a huge success, and another film called Special 26 was also a box-office success.

In the year 2020, a wax statue of Aggarwal was displayed on display at Madame Tussauds Singapore, making it the first figure of one of the actors who is from South Indian cinema.

Marriage

Kajal got married to businessman Gautam Kitchlu on October 30, 2020. The couple were wed in a modest, intimate ceremony in her home town from Mumbai, India.
