Cast
The heroine Kajal Aggarwal play the lead role in this film . Also you’ve got new faces, and they all do a great job. Every character feels real, which makes the story even better. With all these talented people in the movie, it’s no wonder Varshal is going to be a big success. The cast delivers solid performances, with standing out in their roles.
Review
The star actress Kajal Aggarwal is a good looking actress in a few scenes. Comedian Yogi Babu attempts to be his excellent. His humorous shorts are an escape from the movie.
KS Ravi Kumar is an infamous gangster whose real-life actions prove to be humorous. The sight of him play such humorous role is that is new to the public.
The actor Jai is a significant role in the movie. Even though he is only five minutes however, he is at his perfect. Urvashi is a good actress in her character. Comedian Rajendran explains his role and brings laughter.
Weak Performances
The first thing that comes to mind is “How could the star actress Kajal Aggarwal accept this kind of a meaningless film that is neither spooky nor funny.” Kajal Aggarwal looks stunning on the screen, however it’s not sufficient to benefit the film do well in the theater. The performance is not impressive and she’s got nothing to offer.
The film is hilarious since it doesn’t have a proper storyline. It is difficult to know what the director intends to convey by this film. The scripts he wrote are dated and won’t cause anyone to scream in terror. The supposed horror scenes aren’t terrifying. In fact, they’re very funny. The light turn on, off door are shut, and the game of opening and many more tricks made for great fun, but without worry. In addition the emotional angle, it isn’t very effective, either.
It appears that director Kalyaan intentionally created a delay in the sequences, especially the ones that feature KS Ravi Kumar. There isn’t a clear relationship between the scene with the immediately preceding one. This could be confusing. Additionally, when the director introduces suspense towards the end of the film the audience will surely feel a sigh of disappointment.
The film is a single track and that is… don’t think about it. The makeup technicians may have listened to the phrase, “Add colour to your life” and put on excessive makeup on face of Kajal as well as KS Ravi Kumar.
Behind the Scenes
Kalyaan does not succeed as a director and writer. He could have created an even better plot, particularly when he had the opportunity to direct a famous actress such as Kajal Aggarwal. The cinematography is average as is the score for background. The dubbing is good. The editor should have cut out the unnecessary scenes from both the portions. Production values are good enough.
Trailer
Conclusion
Overall, Kajal Aggarwal’s Khosty is not scary or funny. It’s, in actual an embarrassment to the genre of horror comedy. The weak screenplay and poor writing create a dull routine. Even Kajal Aggarwal’s presence doesn’t benefit the film’s chances. Don’t bother.
