Who is behind this murder? What was the motive of the assassin? Did Chetan discover the culprits who were behind the murder? That’s the question Prathindhi 2 is about.
Cast
Nara Rohit as Chetan are the main character who running daring news channel that forms the basis for resolving this movie’s main conflict. Also you’ve got new faces, and they all do a great job. Every character feels real, which makes the story even better. With all these talented people in the movie, it’s no wonder Varshal is going to be a big success. The cast delivers solid performances, with standing out in their roles.
Review
The first half is an established plot in which our hero is exposed as corrupt by his leaders. Despite its predictable nature the script is executed with care. The lead character questions corrupt politicians in a live show and exposes their actual nature. The hero also is trying to educate the general public on the importance of voting using an audio byte. The scenes don’t really stand out as original, but the ideas and message that the film is trying to convey are positive which makes the beginning of the movie passable.
The smart dialogues and rapid-paced narration can make us forget about the familiar landscape. Its Sapthagiri humor track the scenes prior to and following the by-poll, as well as the conceivable interval twists entice viewers to a degree. After a pause, Nara Rohit is back on the big screen and he did a excellent job in the film. As a sincere journalist who is adamant about exposing any kind of injustice in any way the actor has done an best job. His delivery of dialogue is impeccable. Sachin Khedekar Dinesh Teja Udaya Bhanu and Sapthagiri are all decent in their roles.
Weak Performances
The second half is disappointing and, to put it mildly, disappointing. The entire first half focuses on the disclosure of corruption in politics The second half is centered upon the CBI investigation into the assassination of CM. However, the way in which the investigation procedure is presented looks completely ridiculous. The cartoonish portrayal of prominent officers and their leaders undermines their good intentions.
The director totally ignores logic aspects of it a commercial edge. The film’s diverse scenes are a complete disregard for logic and go way overboard. There isn’t any seriousness or logical flow to the film. If the filmmakers had took a more realistic approach, without adding superficial elements the film would have achieved its objective.
The romantic music could have been omitted, and the early years of the main character needed more substance. The ending cliffhanger will lead to the next part however, it doesn’t really evoke any curiosity.
Behind the Scenes
Mahati Swara Sagar’s music isn’t the best The music of Mahati Swara Sagar isn’t great, as is Nani Chamidisetty’s cinematography is barely acceptable. Editing is excellent and the film keeps a its pace in the majority. However, the VFX work is not very good. The scene that climaxes Ajay’s character in an airport as well as scenes with massive crowds look strange on the large screen.
Murthy Devagupthapu’s direction falls short of the mark. The opening half is filled with enjoyable moments, however the director wasn’t able to maintain this momentum into the final half hour. The try is sincere, but it falls short due to the poor writing and the inclusion in commercial components.
Trailer
Conclusion
In conclusion, Prathinidhi 2 has a good premise, however its superficial scripting prevents the film from communicating its message. Nara Rohit is a genuine journalist. The first half is a decent affair with some enjoyable moments. However, the second half is like a set of cards, with badly composed scenes. Although it is beginning to look like an honest drama about politics, the film is ultimately a disappointment.
