Shahid Kapoor is an Indian actor and model who mainly works in Hindi films. He is the son of actors Pankaj Kapoor and Neelima Azeem. He is famous for his roles in romantic and thriller movies like Kabir Singh, Haider, Mausam, and Chup Chup Ke.

Personal Life
Shahid was born in Delhi, India, to actors Pankaj Kapoor and Neelima Azeem. His parents got divorced when he was three years old. After that, he lived with his mother in Delhi but maintained a good relationship with his father and stepmother. He studied at Rajhans Vidyalaya in Mumbai.
In 2015, Shahid married his girlfriend Mira Rajput. They had their first child, daughter Misha, in 2016 and their son, Zain, in 2018.
Career
Shahid started his career as a model and appeared in TV ads and music videos. He first gained attention in a Pepsi commercial with Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji. He also acted in the music video Aankhon Me Tera Hi Chehra.
In 2003, he made his debut as a lead actor in the film Ishq Vishk and won the Filmfare Best Male Debut Award. His next movie, Fida, was a failure at the box office, followed by Dil Maange More, which did average business.
In 2005, he acted in three successful films, including Shikhar, which earned him a nomination for Best Actor at the Star Screen Awards. In 2006, he appeared in 36 China Town and Chup Chup Ke, which performed moderately well. However, Vivah, a romantic drama, became one of his biggest hits, earning him another Best Actor nomination.
In 2007, Fool and Final flopped, but Jab We Met became the biggest hit of the year, bringing him several Best Actor nominations, including at the Filmfare Awards. In 2008, his film Kismat Konnection did not perform well.
In 2009, he played a double role in Kaminey, which was a hit. Later that year, he starred in Dil Bole Hadippa!.
In 2010, Shahid acted in Chance Pe Dance and Paathshala. He also appeared in Badmaash Company, which did average business, and Milenge Milenge in April 2010.
